In an effort to find new and innovative ways to reach out to the community, the Clarksville Police Department (CPD) recently visited a local barbershop to chat with citizens. The department has hosted several “Coffee with a Cop” meetings and decided to try another comfortable and nonthreatening environment to start conversations.
Coffee combined with conversation has long been a way for people to become better acquainted with each other. The Kankakee police turned to this method again on Saturday when a Coffee with a Cop event was held at McDonald’s on Fifth Avenue.
