On Friday, June 22, Coffee with a Cop was held at Wynnum Plaza’s, Cafe de France.

As per usual Volunteers in Police (ViPs) and Crime Stoppers were on hand to provide information and advice to community members. The Bayside District Crime Prevention officers assisted, providing the much needed sugar rush.

Cafe de France supplied the venue and with coffees paid for by our friends at Writers Reserve the only thing left was the customers who did not let us down with their attendance, questions and even advice.

At these events we provide information on a wide range of topics, this time the focus was on scams, domestic violence and house break ins.

These three topics are very topical within the local community and can affect anyone, this informal event allows the public to ask their local police questions and become informed with updated information.

Wynnum police continue to conduct patrols throughout Wynnum Plaza and other areas within the patrol group but should you have any queries relating to any of the above we can be contacted at DCPC.Wynnum@police.qld.gov.au
