Director Jacqueline Fortune
Jacqueline Fortune is a native Houstonian and 26 year veteran of the Harris County Sheriff’s Office. She is the first female to serve as Director of Community Relations, a position in which she is responsible for building relationships with the diverse residents of Harris County. Jacqueline leads numerous Harris County Sheriff’s Office initiatives including: overseeing the six community storefront offices, Youth Exploring Program, Crime Prevention Unit, National Night Out Campaign, Coffee with a Cop events, Citizen’s Police Academy, Youth Citizen’s Police Academy, and the Junior Mounted Posse.
She holds professional certifications as a Rape Aggression Defense Instructor, Master Peace Officer, Certified Crime Prevention Specialist, Texas Commission of Law Enforcement Certified Instructor, and Child Passenger Safety Technician.
