WFPD hosts Coffee with a Cop event on Tuesday

If you stopped by McDonald’s on Kemp to get a coffee this morning, you may have met some of the cities finest.

The Wichita Falls Police Department hosted another a ‘Coffee with a Cop’ event.

Officers and residents had a chance to meet and chat about community issues, and just learn more about each other.

Those on hand say the event gave them a chance to thank the officers for keeping our city streets safe.

Police say it gave them a chance to meet some new people while also showing a more approachable side.
