Scarlet hosts “Coffee with a Cop”

Miss belle of the bayou contestant holly brand reached out to the meridian police department to organize a meet-and-greet. Free coffee was given out to the first 100 customers. Holly’s goal for this day is for citizens to interact with law enforcement, over a cup of Jo, in a friendly environment.

Japanese Community join Coffee with a Cop, Gold Coast

The event is open to all International Students, and invites Japanese students to share a coffee with a Japanese speaking Police Officer and Police Liaison Officer to discuss issues, ask questions or get to know a little more about their local community.

We know a good thing when we see it and that’s why we headed to Macleay Island two days in a row. On Thursday March 28, we hosted a Coffee with a Cop at Scorpion Cafe followed by a return to Macleay the very next day to hold a bicycle safety education day at the local school.
