National Coffee with a Cop Day celebrated in El Paso, Las Cruces

Deputies are getting to meet with the residents of El Paso and El Paso County.

El Paso County Sheriff Richard Wiles and his deputies invited the community to join them for a “Coffee and Conversation” event Wednesday.

People were able to ask questions and share concerns at locations in El Paso, Clint and Canutillo.

Our neighboring city, Las Cruces, also celebrated National Coffee with a Cop Day.

The Las Cruces Police Department invited New Mexicans to stop by and share a cup of coffee with them.

People were able to voice any concerns they may have had with law enforcement.

The free event was hosted by Starbucks and the Las Cruces Police Department at the Valley Drive location.
