Last weekend’s Coffee with a Cop at Mayfair Village was very much a success with many a coffee being consumed and many a problem being solved. Decisions like flat white or cappuccino, one sugar or two or even what are our current crime concerns are, aren’t easy at times.
The informal event that continues to build in popularity was enjoyed by many a shopper and cafe-goer and enjoyed even more so by the young children who went home covered in stickers.
As per usual our local Crime Stoppers and our Bayside Volunteers in Policing (ViPs) were in attendance providing valuable information covering a vast array of topics.
What was great to see though were the local general duties coppers from Wynnum Station taking a breather from their busy shift and giving their valuable time to the local community in such a relaxed environment.
However, as indicated in the title, Bayside Crime Prevention would like to report the local statistical results which are as follows;
‘Flat whites’ were by far the most popular with almost twice as many being consumed than their closest rival the ‘lattes’, leaving the somewhat unpopular ‘cappuccinos’ to come in dead last with only a third of the amount being consumed.
For actual crime facts and stats you will have to attend the next Coffee with a Cop to find out ?.
