Local business owners welcome Mooresville police for National Coffee with a Cop Day

Officers from the Mooresville Police Department, local and state government representatives, members of the Mooresville Graded School District’s Board of Education and Mike and Melissa Neader, of McDonald’s of Iredell County, were on hand to celebrate National Coffee with a Cop Day on Wednesday.

Held from 8:30 to 10 a.m., attendees were treated to a cup of joe and conversation at the event, which allowed residents to mingle with officers and ask questions. The Neaders will continue to have monthly Coffee with a Cop events on the first Thursday of each month, starting Nov. 1 at 8:30 a.m.
