The McDonalds on Kemp hosted a new crowd for breakfast this morning as Wichitans flooded in for “Coffee With a Cop.”
The national trend has made its way to Wichita Falls and WFPD officials held their first event this morning. Dozens of people came in through the two hour period to grab a cup of Joe and have a candid conversation with officers in uniform and to express their thanks.
“It’s made us feel appreciated, we’re thankful for it, we’re thankful for the community we serve, because they are thankful for our service,” Officer C. Casillas, Patrol Officer.
Officer Casillas says the WFPD will continue to hold “Coffee with a Cop” to take questions and comments from the public. We’ll keep you posted on their next event.
