Deputies meet with citizens during ‘Coffee with a Cop’ event

Donuts and cops, something many see as a cliche, but for a handful of deputies they embraced it for a chance to talk with members of the community in Cimarron Hills.

In an ongoing series of ‘Coffee with a Cop’ events, El Paso County deputies spoke with several people at Daylight Donuts to talk about everything from neighborhood watch to marijuana grows.

‘We’ve been getting some pretty good feedback from the community, the outreach is huge, but we’ve also built some really great partnerships not only with community members but also some of our people like Cimarron Hills fire,’ said Sergeant Mitch Mihalko, El Paso County Sheriff’s Office community relations.
