Beyond the Basics

Learn from the co-founders about how the Coffee with a Cop program started in one location becoming the biggest community policing program in the country. You will learn current best practices, do’s and don’ts, communication issues, Officer “buy in” and how Coffee with a Cop can kick start community policing philosophies in your department. Real-world examples will be presented on successes and failures (we’ve seen many) of Coffee with a Cop events from all over the world. Our instructors have presented this class across the country with great feedback from the officers who attended. We will cover unique perspectives on branding for your organization, social media perspectives from Command Staff, and the challenges of getting agency buy in on Community Policing programs. This class has something for everyone in Command Staff, Officers, and Support Staff in your agency.
