Officers from the Butler barracks of the Pennsylvania State Police sat down with some local residents on Tuesday morning for ‘Coffee With A Cop.’
The officers gathered at Pennie’s Bake Shop on West New Castle Street in the city of Butler.
Troopers said the mission of the event was to help break down the barriers between police officers and the citizens they serve. There was no agenda; but rather it was an informal time to just sit, talk and answer questions.
This was the first time officers gathered for something like this in Butler.
