On Friday September 6, along with the glorious spring weather, came the support of the local Milton and Paddington community when they shared a coffee with a cop in the morning.
The conversations flowed alongside the liquid gold that was splendidly poured by the kind staff at Eightysix cafe.
Brisbane City Councillor Peter Matic visited along with many other community members.
Police tested their selfie abilities with Senior Sergeant Dan O’Connor of Brisbane City Police showing us all how a long arm extension is done.
Senior Sergeant Simon Tayler also of City Police did his finest impression of ‘blue steel’.
But in all seriousness, it was a wonderful morning with many mums, dads, grandparents, students and even canines enjoying each other’s company in the amazing spring weather.
Milton Police Beat officers, Acting Senior Constable Scott Musson and Senior Constable Caro Ferreira wish to thank the community for their continued support, for coming out to this event to have chat and for bringing the smiles.
