Coffee with a Cop Moorooka style

On Saturday, Moorooka Police hosted Coffee with a Cop, but we threw a twist onto it and got on board with a local business and tried Ethiopian style coffee.

We were joined by the local state member the Honourable Mark Bailey MP, who funded the morning and was having a chat to the local community.

It was a great opportunity to interact and talk with the local residents and some that had travelled just to try the different style of coffee.

We were asked all sorts of questions and were able to grab some honest feedback in what the community thought we were doing well and what we could do better to serve them.

I also took the opportunity to use our speed detection devices and test the speed of some of our local young scooter enthusiasts and sprinters and found a few upcoming potential Olympic champions.

But how was the Ethiopian coffee I hear you ask?

It’s strong and I haven’t slept since then (I joke), but I have to say, I’m a convert.

It tastes fresh and earthly with different herbs and I highly recommend you give it a go.

Keep your eye out for the next Coffee with a Cop event across the Southside.
