Coffee with a Cop in Bracken Ridge

Another great Coffee with a Cop event was held today at the Round Table Coffee shop, Gawain Road, Bracken Ridge.

There was plenty of take up for free coffee on offer thanks to the Officer in Charge of Sandgate Police Station, Senior Sergeant Jon Kent.

A big thank you to everyone who took the time to come along and ask questions of police, it was great to have some conversations and here your concerns.

A fun time was had by all – not to mention the free give-aways!

Locals who might like to be involved in future chances to chat to police might not have to wait too long between brews.

The next event for the Sandgate area will be held in about six weeks time at the Capulate and Co. coffee shop on Brighton Road in Sandgate.

Then we will revisit Round Table Coffee another six weeks after that – we will post more details here when we have them ready.

A crime prevention education session was one item to come out of this mornings chats with the community, so an event will be held soon to enhance crime prevention. Stay tuned for more details.
