Coffee with a Cop

Coffee with a Cop gives officers a chance to have a conversation with the community they serve. The day also gives people a chance to bring up concerns and ask questions.

Officers enjoyed coffee with neighbors at 10 locations in the stateline Wednesday. Organizers say this gives people an informal and neutral space to build positive relationships with officers.

Last year was the first year for the event and organizers hope it spreads. Coffee with a Cop is a national initiative by the united states department of justice.
