Coffee shared with a Councillor and a Cop, Hyperdome

Loganholme Police officers joined forces with Logan City Councillor Darren Power for a ‘Coffee with a  Cop’ on June 12, 2018. Management of the Logan Hyperdome Shopping Centre were also present.

Members of the public had the opportunity to speak to Council and the QPS in a non-formal environment about local issues.

Whilst speaking with Council and QPS, a free coffee was offered from Crema Espresso Hyperdome to enjoy.

The SSUV, which seats two officers and is being be utilised by Loganholme officers to conduct operations with a high visibility policing presence in areas previously out of reach due to the nature of the terrain.

The SSUV allows Loganholme Police increased mobility in areas where it is not practical to use police vehicles. The versatility of these vehicles is a tremendous asset to police.

The QPS enjoys a collaborative relationship with the council to positively spread the message about crime prevention and proactive approaches to personal and community safety.
