There was a lot of State Police activity at a McDonald’s in the Poconos, Tuesday morning.
Eyewitness News found Troopers parked outside the fast food restaurant in Marshalls Creek. The troopers were there for conversation and coffee, as part of the Coffee with a Cop program.
They say it’s a good way to talk face to face with residents about what’s going on in their community.
Trooper David Peters, Troop N Public Information Officer told about the event “Different things, some people relate some troubles that maybe they’re having in their community that we can take back to the station and tell our patrols. They drive around a little bit more, be a little more observant in that area.”
