National Coffee with a Cop

Silverthorne Police Department is pleased to host a National “Coffee with a Cop” event on Wednesday, October 4th, 2017, from 7:30-9:30am at Dunkin’ Donuts, 120 Blue River Pkwy, Silverthorne, CO 80498. Members of the Department’s staff will be on hand to share some informal conversation over a cup of coffee with community members. The community is encouraged to take this opportunity to discuss any of their questions and/or concerns or to just take a few minutes to get to know some of the members of the Police Department.

Coffee with a Cop, brings police officers and the community members together–over coffee–to discuss issues and learn more about each other. It has proven to be a great way to build relationships. The key to Coffee with a Cop’s growing success is that it opens the door for interactions outside of the emergency situations that typically bring law enforcement officers and community members together.
