Coffee with a Cop – Norwalk Police Department

The McDonald’s restaurant at 726 Connecticut Avenue in Norwalk will host a National Coffee With A Cop Day event from 8:00-10:00 A.M. on Wednesday, Oct. 4 in partnership with the Norwalk Police Department. This national one-day event brings local police and citizens together – over coffee – to discuss community issues and build relationships in a safe environment.

The first Wednesday of October is deemed National Coffee With A Cop Day, when thousands of police, sheriff, campus, local and federal law enforcement agencies participate in community events across the country.

“As local business owners, we look forward to hosting these events in the communities we serve, arm-in-arm beside our local police officers,” said Christian Trefz, McDonald’s Owner/Operator. “We hope community members will attend to get to know the officers face-to-face and chat over coffee in a safe and friendly environment.”

Trefz is hosting another Coffee with a Cop event at the same time at his restaurant on Park Avenue in Bridgeport.
