Coffee with a Cop- Coffee and Conversation with Attorney General Hood and Investigators

The Mississippi Attorney General’s Office will host a Coffee with a Cop event at Sneaky Beans in Jackson’s Fondren neighborhood on October 2, and invites residents of the community to come in for a complimentary cup of coffee and friendly conversation with Attorney General Jim Hood and AG investigators.

Coffee with a Cop is part of a national movement designed to help break down the barriers in communities between residents and officers that can make it hard to address crime and public safety. The program brings police officers and the community members they serve together–over coffee–to discuss issues and learn more about each other.

The event begins at 7:30 a.m. at the Sneaky Beans coffee shop on 2914 N. State Street in Jackson. Attorney general investigators from the office’s Consumer Protection, Cyber Crime, Medicaid Fraud Control, and Public Integrity divisions will be available to answer questions, listen to concerns and provide helpful information on the many services provided to Mississippians.
