National Coffee with a Cop Day

The McDonald’s restaurant at 1 Haddon Avenue in Camden will host a National Coffee With A Cop Day event from 1:00-3:00 P.M. on Wednesday, Oct. 3 in partnership with the Camden County Police Department. This national one-day event brings local police and citizens together – over coffee – to discuss community issues and build relationships in a safe environment.

The first Wednesday of October is deemed National Coffee With A Cop Day, when thousands of police, sheriff, campus, local and federal law enforcement agencies participate in community events across the country.

“As local business owners, we look forward to hosting these events in the communities we serve, arm-in-arm beside our local police officers,” said Erik Cautin of Baim Enterprises McDonald’s. “We hope community members will attend to get to know the officers face-to-face and chat over coffee in a safe and friendly environment.”

McDonald’s restaurants in the greater Philadelphia area partner with law enforcement agencies throughout the year to host additional Coffee with a Cop events to encourage stronger relationships between police and community members.
