Coffee With a Cop

The West Jefferson Police Department and The Daily Buzz invite you to Coffee with a Cop, 10 to 11 a.m., Wednesday, October 3, at The Daily Buzz, 62 E. Main Street, West Jefferson.

Join Chief Rick Hardy and officers for a unique opportunity to ask questions and learn more about the department’s work serving the West Jefferson community. The program expands the department’s outreach to our community, continuing the West Jefferson community policing philosophy. There is no agenda, just a casual opportunity to ask questions and share ideas over morning coffee.

“West Jefferson is a great community with strong ties,” says Chief Hardy. “Many of our officers live in the community which creates an opportunity to know them. If we can meet, have a conversation and get to know each other better, we build lasting relationships and that makes for a strong and safer community.”
