LPD hosts “Coffee with a Cop” event Saturday morning

There was a large police presence Saturday morning at a Central Lubbock coffee shop, but they weren’t there because a crime had been committed.

Instead, the LPD officers were enjoying a “cup of joe” and interacting with Lubbock residents as part of their “Coffee with a Cop” program.

Lubbockites were welcomed to stop by and talk with officers about their concerns or just to say hello.
