National Coffee with a Cop Day

The Silverton McDonald’s is partnering with the Toms River Police Department for a Coffee with a Cop event.

This national one-day event brings local police and citizens together – over coffee – to discuss community issues and build relationships in a safe environment.

The first Wednesday of October is deemed National Coffee with a Cop Day, when thousands of police, sheriff, campus, local and federal law enforcement agencies participate in community events across the country.

McDonald’s restaurants in the tri-state area also partner with law enforcement agencies throughout the year to host additional Coffee with a Cop events to encourage stronger relationships between police and community members.
