Members of the Wilton Police Department and residents are getting to know each other a little better.

The department held its annual ‘Coffee with a Cop’ event at the Coffee Barn on Danbury Road.

Some of the big topics discussed were the weather, traffic in town, and the Yankees.

Sgt. Stephen Sisenstein said it’s about the officers and the community coming together.

“We come here, you could talk about whatever, there’s no agenda, we’re just building our community relationship one cup of coffee at a time,” said Sisenstein.

The Wilton Police Department holds the event every year, and they’re looking to expand to twice a year.
