Coffee with a Cop & Big ‘Ol Omelette Challenge

Coffee with a Cop brings police officers and the community members they serve together–over coffee–to discuss issues and learn more about each other.
We are happy to be hosting this event for the 1st Time at our little restaurant. We are hoping to get as many community members and local leaders as possible to come and attend. That’s why we are throwing in a little extra incentive because we never do anything quite like everyone else….so what we are looking for is 2 of New Berns Finest to try our Big ‘Ol Omelette Challenge on this day as well! What does the Challenge entail you ask…well we will give the team 30 minutes to attempt to eat…roughly 10 lbs of food…2lb of meat, 1lb of vegetables, 1lb of cheese, 2lb 4 oz of eggs…put together nicely as an Omelette with 3lbs of hashbrowns and 6 slices of toast on the side! Contestants may use any condiments they choose and drink the beverage of their choice. This monster meal is served on a pizza pan and that pan must be free of all food for the challenge to be considered complete. For this particular event if we are able to get 2 competitors to complete it we will donate $$$ to the non profit organization of the Officers choice.
But wait there’s more…we will also be featuring coffee flavors from 5-0H Coffee Company specifically for this event! 5-0H Coffee was developed by Law Enforcement Officers for Law Enforcement Officers so we figured what better time to feature their coffee flavors!?
We intend to have a really good time with hopefully good communication amongst community members, community leaders, and the fine officers of the New Bern Police Department…who’s coming?!
