Cops try and create community relationships over coffee

Local Law Enforcement stopped at the Gifted Bean this morning for coffee with a cop.

The program gives the community a chance to chat with police officers over a cup of Joe. There were also activities for the kids like checkers.

“There was a lot of cops. I thought there would just be cops, not sheriffs and all that, but they showed up. Some of them I recognized,” said Landon Glovich, Bismarck.

Some of the officers also read books for the children.
