Coffee With A Cop at the Farmers Market

The Great Falls Police Department will be hosting Coffee With A Cop at the Great Falls Farmer’s Market on Saturday, June 11th from 8am to 12pm and the entire Great Falls community is invited!

The citizens of the Great Falls area gave us their feedback and we listened. This is the first time Coffee With A Cop will be held on a Saturday.

Attendees may expect to visit with members of the Great Fall Police Department, Cascade County Sheriff’s Office and Detention Center, Montana Highway Patrol, Montana Department of Transportation, the Cascade County DUI Task Force and Crime Stoppers. Also, officers from Montana Fish Wildlife and Parks will be joining us for the first time.

Event highlights! Attendees will get to:
• Enjoy a coffee or lemonade with local law enforcement officers
(compliments of O’Haire Motor Inn)
• Register for Code Red alerts
• Take the DDACTS survey, enter to win a $150 gift certificate
• Make an Emergency Child ID Kit
• Simulate intoxication with the “drunk goggles”
• Meet Tipper the Crimestoppers’ mascot (from 1100-1200)
• Check out the inside of a patrol car and much more

The goal of Coffee with a Cop is to break down barriers and provide an opportunity for officers to build relationships with community members in an informal, neutral space.

Coffee with a Cop is a national initiative supported by The United States Department of Justice – Office of Community Oriented Policing Services.
