Coffee with a Cop brings smiles to the BaysideIt was great to catch up with members of the Bayside community at Coffee with a Cop on the morning of January 10.

Thanks to the wonderful Volunteers in Policing and Crime Stoppers team who joined us outside Capacillios Cafe in Wynnum to meet with the locals and provide useful information about who we are and what we do.

Throughout the morning we had a chat with families and community members and were delighted to shout a cup of joe to get the conversation started.

Not only did we meet some friendly Bayside faces, but we also met a family visiting all the way from Sweden.

We had a great time meeting our visitors from a much colder part of the world and giving them a chance to talk to some Aussie police.

It’s always good to take the opportunity to have one-on-one conversations with the people we are so honoured to serve, and to answer any questions you might have about our role in the community.
