A great time had at Coffee with a Cop on StraddieYesterday Bayside District Crime Prevention Coordinators (DCPC) in partnership with Dunwich Police hosted a Coffee with a Cop (CWAC) on Straddie.

With the theme being youth engagement, a lot of information was on hand with Bayside Volunteers in Policing (ViPs) providing and engaging as were Police Liaison Officers (PLOs).

Also present to help were representatives from The Cage and Redlands Police Citizens and Youth Club (PCYC).

It wasn’t of course just the aforementioned who drank all the coffee, as many locals popped in to say hi and chat over a coffee or two.

There have been a few CWAC on Straddie now, the majority of which have been at Dunwich, quite possibly the next ones may be at either Amity Point or Point Lookout.

Either way, it’s a good time at a beautiful venue with great company and yum coffee.
