Chief Officer and Social Media Specialist Dirk-Jan Grootenboer

I am Dirk-Jan Grootenboer, working at the National Police Netherlands. Currently working as Chief Officer and Social Media Specialist at the Seaport Police Unit Rotterdam. During my work, I prefer a cup of coffee with citizens. #coffiemeteencop Listen and be open to someone else. Social Media is a means of communicating quickly with citizens and coffee is a means of taking time. And both are extremely important for our work and our image. A strong hand can not be without a soft hand. In the Netherlands there are already a lot of social neighborhood agents and with #coffiemeteencop we can share this with each other too.

Ik ben Dirk-Jan Grootenboer, werkzaam bij de Nationale Politie Nederland. Momenteel werkzaam als hoofdagent en sociale media specialist bij de Zeehavenpolitie Eenheid Rotterdam. Tijdens mijn werk drink ik het liefst een kop koffie met burgers. #koffiemeteencop Luisteren en open staan voor een ander. Sociale Media is een middel om snel contact te leggen met burgers en koffie is een middel om tijd voor elkaar te nemen. En beiden zijn enorm belangrijk voor ons werk en ons imago. Een sterke hand kan niet zonder een zachte hand. In Nederland zijn al heel veel sociale wijkagenten en met #koffiemeteencop  kunnen we dit ook delen met elkaar.
