Coffee with a Cop

Coffee with a Cop came about when Senior Constable Sam Schofield and Administration Officer Pauline Dunn, from Capalaba Police Beat, wanted to create conversation and establish trust between communities and local police. Coffee with a Cop is thought to be a good way to develop a rapport with police and help foster a safer community environment. This simple concept allows for people to engage with police in an informal, neutral space; providing the opportunity to discuss community issues, build relationships and interact successfully over a cup of coffee.
